When training for a half or full marathon there are all types running gear to get you through training. Most importantly, you’ll need is a new pair of running shoes. Without a good pair, you can expect a lot of pain in your legs and lower back. Fleet Feet would be a perfect running store to check out for your new pair of kicks. Here, you will be able to get fitted by someone who is an expert in running.

If you like the shoes after you've run in them several times, and you feel that they are good match for you go ahead and buy another pair. Having two pairs of running shoes is a safe way to make sure your feet are always supported. You should alternate your two pairs of shoes throughout training so that they can dry out for your next run and also so you are not wearing out just one pair. SUPPORT and COMFORT are KEY!

Look for running gear that is designed to stay away from moisture. You can look for “dri-fit” gear. This helps to keep your clothes fresh and not as moist from sweat. This will keep you more comfortable to ensure you get the most out of each run.

Compression socks are also a great choice for runners. Compression socks are used by runners wishing to improve the amount of circulation in their feet and legs. Runners with circulatory disorders or diabetes may consider using these socks. Compression socks are made in a wide range of colors, styles, and pressure ranges.
